A-MAZE-ING MAZE
Our 10,000 square foot Maze is waiting for your group to come and explore! Learn about teamwork, improve your problem-solving skills, use reasoning & critical-thinking, and have FUN, FUN, FUN! Our maze is a permanent structure with 6 1/2 foot walls and will be in use year-round.
You may want to add another dimension to the fun. The maze can be used for games & educational purposes also. Educational material or scavenger-type hunts can be posted within the perimeters of the walls for participants to discover as they travel within. It proves to be versatile ...material used can be centered on spiritual or academic education. Or we can break the group into small teams and hide items in the maze to solve a puzzle. With advanced planning, a program may be customized to accommodate the specific needs of your group.
The maze can be entered and exited from different locations to prevent familiarity with the pattern. We even do night events! There is a tower to insure safety for the participants. Reservations are a MUST.
TEAM CHALLENGE COURSE
The OWL Center operates a Ropes Course certified by Adventure Experiences, Inc. Louisiana Methodist Children's Home's Team Challenge Course is designated to accomplish two goals. One focus is upon enhancing the individual by building confidence and self esteem. The second focus is to help people learn to work together as a team and accomplish goals never thought possible.
The Team Challenge Course uses the elements to help participants face fears, build trust, and learn to better communicate with others. Groups will build friendships, self-confidence, and trust that create more effective and productive individuals. We help turn the "I can't" attitude into "Yes, we can". The facilities are open to groups of 12 or more. All course activities are facilitated by trained challenge course instructors certified annually through Adventure Experiences.
