Working with horses can have numerous benefits for people with physical, psychological, developmental, and behavioral challenges. The OWL Equine Program uses these 4-legged therapists to help the youth from the Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home, but our program is open to the public as well. It is a great way to add an extra challenge to a teambuilding, or to help a child with ADHD. We also hold riding camps and special events. With the upcoming addition of our covered arena (thank you, Wildhorse Oil and Gas!) we will be able to host clinics and shows. Contact us if you would like more information, are interested in volunteering, or have equipment that you would like to donate.
