Meet the OWL Center Staff

OWL Director

Cindy Croft

Cindy is originally from Mississippi. After obtaining her Masters Degree from University of Monroe, she started work as a therapist in the CAB program. Two years ago she made the move to become the OWL Director. Cindy is always willing to help at the barn, with programing, and even maintenance. Her enthusiasm for the outdoors and the Methodist Children's Home is what fuels this program and staff.

Equine Supervisor

Samantha Luttrell

Samantha settled in Ruston after obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana Tech University. Her job at the OWL center includes taking care of not only the horses, but also the cows, goats, and all other legged friends on the property. She teaches all of the equine therapy and horsemanship classes. Her kindness and patience really bring something special to the staff at the OWL Center.

Activities Coordinator

Sara Corley

Sara has been with the Methodist Children's Home for about 3 years. She started as a weekend recreation worker at the OWL. After obtaining her Bachelors of Science degree from Louisiana Tech University, she became the Activities Coordinator. Sara does most of the scheduling, comes up with new programs/activities, and assists Samantha at the barn. Her fun-loving and willing attitude help to keep this program exciting.
